Anyone looking for effective skin care that supplies the skin with nutrients and slows down the aging process is well advised to use beauty oils such as jojoba. Do you already have oily skin and don't want to add extra fat? Then you are wrong. Many people think that, but it is a mistake: If you degrease your skin too much, it will stimulate even more sebum production. On the other hand, if you apply a non-comedogenic oil, your skin will produce less of it. So there are also oils that are wonderfully suitable for oily skin types or mixtures.
Oils are rich, can be used as an eye mask, and are a great home remedy for wrinkles and dry skin. Jojoba oil is exactly the right oil for the skin.

But there are differences - not all products are of the same high quality. Organic jojoba oil is always preferable to other products. We have tested how it behaves with jojoba oil from the Rossmann, from the dm, but also with jojoba oil from the pharmacy.
During our jojoba oil test, we noticed three products that you can order from Amazon.
- Kanzy jojoba oil for skin and hair
This oil is cold-pressed and hexane-free, it is an excellent moisturizer and is quickly absorbed by the skin. In addition, it is silicone-free, gluten-free, parabens-free and vegan. However, we didn't like that that much, the wrong one is unfortunately not made of glass, but of plastic. The bottle contains 120 ml of jojoba oil.

- Natura pure organic jojoba oil
This product is also cold-pressed and organic. It is in a glass bottle with a pipette and is suitable for all skin types, but especially for dry skin. These are natural cosmetics that do not contain any other additives. The content of the bottle: 120 ml.

- Organic natural satin jojoba oil
In contrast to the first two mentioned, this product is in a dark glass bottle. This makes sense because oils are generally sensitive to light and should be stored in the dark. It is pure organic jojoba oil, which of course does not contain any microplastics, parabens, sulfates or the like. There are either 100 or 200 ml of oil from certified organic agriculture in the bottle.

Jojoba oil effect: what is jojoba oil actually good for?
Jojoba oil applied to the face acts like a protective barrier, it protects the skin against moisture loss and environmental influences. Important for people with oily skin and a tendency to breakouts: J.ojoba oil is not comedogenic. It has an anti-inflammatory effect. It also has a light natural sun protection factor. Jojoba oil is not only suitable for the face, but can also be applied anywhere after sunbathing, for example. Jojoba oil is also suitable for the gentle treatment of scars.
The intensive care effect is due to the high vitamin E content of jojoba oil. This protects the skin from aging and creates a natural protective barrier. Many also use jojoba oil as a gentle eye makeup remover.
If necessary, you can simply mix jojoba oil with your normal cream - a few drops are enough.
Jojoba oil review: which oil is suitable for oily skin?
Not all oils are equally suitable for oily skin. It is important whether the respective oil is comedogenic. It is even divided into degrees of comedogeneity between 1 and 5. Jojoba oil is on the first level, which means that it does not clog the pores, but rather is absorbed into the skin fairly quickly after application. Coconut oil, for example, is considered comedogenic and is at level 1.
CBD oil seems to have positive effects, especially on acne-prone and oily skin. It is also non-comedogenic and is quickly absorbed.
Jojoba Oil For Hair - What Does It Do?
What is astonishing is the fact that jojoba oil is actually not an oil at all, but is actually one of the waxes. Especially with the hair you can also achieve good effects with high-quality jojoba oil. It makes the hair supple, moisturizes and makes it more resilient. It is very easy to use: massage a small amount into the tips before or after waxing your hair. If you have a Jojoba oil hair treatment want to do, apply a little more of it all over your hair and leave it on under a towel, possibly overnight. Then, however, you should wash your hair and rinse the oil well. Small amounts, on the other hand, can remain in the hair.
What should you look out for when buying jojoba oil?
Jojoba oil is not just jojoba oil, that's for sure. There is jojoba oil cold-pressed, organic and in various other variants. Good are products that cold-pressed and natural are. These jojoba oils have a longer shelf life and contain no chemical additives.
You recognize a higher quality jojoba oil because it has a golden yellow color and smells subtle. If the oil is very light or even colorless, it could be that it was processed by refining.

We tested jojoba oil from the Internet and from the pharmacy. Here are a few products we can recommend.
1. Primavera jojoba oil
The cold-pressed jojoba oil from primavera is a natural cosmetic. The product is available in pharmacies and online pharmacies. All primavera products are cruelty-free and vegan, and packaging is used as little as possible. The oil is also dermatologically tested. The price is around 12 euros for 100 ml in the middle segment. Unreservedly recommendable product.

2. Apeiron jojoba oil
This jojoba oil also comes from from controlled organic cultivation and is cold-pressed. It is suitable as a massage oil and for dry skin, but also as a bath additive and for the hair. It is well tolerated and suitable for all skin types. The Apeiron jojoba oil is available from pharmacies and online pharmacies at an average price of 12 euros for 100 ml.
The Apeiron jojoba oil also performed very well in our test and is therefore recommended.

3. Jojoba oil from Müller
At just under 8 euros, this oil is significantly cheaper than the first two tested. It is cold-pressed and vegan and does not contain any undesirable additives. So it can keep up in terms of quality, but the oil does not come from controlled organic cultivation. In this respect, the slightly lower price is also justified. This product can also be recommended to anyone who does not value organic.

But what about jojoba oils from Rossmann and dm? Nothing. In our jojoba oil test, we also wanted to test products from these two drugstores, but these are not offered in pure form by either dm or Rossmann. At dm, however, there is a jojoba oil for child care and a mixture of different oils for the hair.
What helps with eye wrinkles? Home remedies for dark circles and dry skin
In any case, jojoba oil is a very good home remedy that helps with wrinkles under the eyes. But also the classic, the cucumber, can be sliced and used as an eye mask and has an immediate refreshing and firming effect. If you have no problem with blemished skin, you can alternatively try coconut oil, which provides the thin and sensitive skin parite wonderfully with moisture. Or you can put two green tea tea bags over your eyes after you have warmed them up in water or made tea from them.
What else can you do for your skin?
With jojoba oil you are definitely doing something good for your skin. Of course, you can increase this effect by supplementing the oil with other cosmetics. It doesn't always have to be an injection of wrinkles when the first wrinkles become noticeable. Collagen, for example, is considered a real anti aging star and can be taken as a collagen drink or in the form of collagen capsules. It is similar with hyaluronic acid. These are also available as a serum for application or as capsules for ingestion. ASOYU has a product on the market that only contains high quality hyaluronic acid.
Conclusion
Most of the jojoba oils we tested were roughly equivalent in terms of quality. If you make sure that the oil is cold-pressed and certified organic, you have to charge a certain price. But even in this case, a really good, high-quality oil is available from online pharmacies for as little as 10 euros for 100 ml.
The effect of jojoba oil is pleasant as it supplies the skin with moisture and vitamins and is quickly absorbed. It does not leave a greasy film on the skin. Although it counteracts the aging process, jojoba oil is not a miracle cure for wrinkles.
